BIO


Laura Quigley is a writer, producer and teacher. She has taught acting, voice and playmaking at The Young People’s Theatre, Baja California Sur University, Humber College, Simon Fraser University, The Lewis Baumander Film School, The Toronto Fringe Creation Lab, as well as private voice and acting coaching. In her very first adventures in theatre making, Laura worked as co-artistic director of seventeenth floor performance co. with whom she created and toured devised projects in Vancouver, Toronto, and Wellington New Zealand. More recently, Laura produced and performed her solo ‘Little Pea’s Revolution’ with Star Company at the Boustead Street salon, at Hub 14 in Toronto, and as part of the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row in New York City.  Her company, Little Revolutions Performance Co. is in the creation process for From HERE to HERE, a new work that will be presented in collaboration with Small Pond Arts at their farm in Prince Edward County in the Summer of 2016.  

Laura recieved her BFA in Theatre from Simon Fraser University. She has also studied river work with Linda Putnam, and voice with Catherine Fitzmaurice, Saul Kotzubei, Richard Armstrong and Fides Krucker.
